They are made from a very strong plastic which helps to prevent any damage to your devices.
The keys are a great items that also do the job.
I fitted this kit as per instructions and I couldn't get it to connect..I then looked again at the instructions and it gave me a different configuration on the toggle switches as my mmi has nav...this made the system connect and it was fantastic...I disconnected the power as per instructions for 5 seconds and plugged back in and it came back to life...I then sorted the cables and pushed the head unit and heater panel back into place...I then took the key out and back again and turned the engine on...that's when the problems began and the screen had 4 repeated images in small with lines down the right side...I emailed customer services who told me to alter the toggle switches...this made things worse and it actually drained the battery after a couple of days. I had to jump start the car and at that point the nav screen froze with the mmi unresponsive...the heater panel was switched off as well with the heater stuck on full blast...I ran the car for an hour to get some charge and when I switched it off the heater was still running.....at this point I took the whole thing out and reconnected the original cables and everything came back to life....I have asked twice for a refund and all they want to do is Inspect it and send another unit....
The product is probably a fantastic piece of kit but mine didn't work properly and im dubious about putting in another one
Easy to follow the video and system works great. Would recommend buying the rear parking camera at the same time
The kit works as it should do. However, support from the support from DriveCast was non-existent. In the end, I found, and followed, a YouTube video which fitted a similar device. I had approached DriveCast via email to ascertain whether they could recommend a good video to follow. Apart from a holding response (we'll get back to you), there has been no further communication. That's a shame really, because other reviews were positive regarding communication. The hardest task of all was having the conviction to remove the centre panel of the car's dash. It was a lot harder to rease the clips than portrayed on any of the videos on YouTube. That apart,fitting the kit via the harness etc was straight forward. The only issue being which position to set the jumpers. I had to put everything back in place, other than the central panel, then turn on the power to see whether the choice of jumper was correct. My instructions provided two possible settings; my first choice was wrong. Other than that, placing the additional harness and associated cables, plus the unit, required careful planning to ensure that nothing was trapped. I've now been using the integrated unit for over a week, and it works very well indeed. The bonus being, hence why I bought it, is that all original functionality has been retained (including the round control knob). It's also very simple to seamlessly switch between the original and integrated systems.
Fantastic stereo car head unit fit in every corner and the harness is completely worked.
Great communication qnd verygood stereo
Looks very smart. Love the large screen. Simple to install. Only issue is I did an update and lost the optional interfaces which were much better than the standard one. You have to park very close to the house to access wifi.

Fantastic product and works well, I bought it for my 2014 craft and found it easy to install (never done it before) took maybe 45 mins

The unit itself is good, once I managed to work out the installation it started up fine.
The instruction booklet is next to useless as it often refers to controls not on my unit and the interpretation to English is very poor.
Works very well
Works really well but doesn't pick up most of the car functions. Sounds great when you get it tailored in correctly but the EQ function is difficult to use as the lower part of the touch screen is much less responsive unlessit'smy fingers, which is highly likely. The manual leaves a lot to be desired without even a connection guide. Apparently it is able to learn the steering wheel controls but I have not managed it. Also since installing it my cars clock has gone haywire. It no longer works when the stereo is turned off. It seems to display random times until the ignition is turned on. Then it visibly corrects itself to the correct time.
Works well, easy enough to fit, only took me an hour or so! Ordered the wrong unit and the team helped me out. Sent back the wrong one and they sent me out the correct one! Overall I’m pleased! Would recommend
Great product, only surpassed by the excellent customer service provided by the DriveCast team.
Very responsive and accurate advice.
Only criticism is that the documentation is not 100% clear, but totally balanced by excellent customer servivce

As a media player and android system I am extremely happy. Quick startup. Excellent streeming using Netflix and Youtube. Excellent video and audio quality. No problem also while phoning (hands free) Instead of installing a DAB+ antenna, I downloaded an app. Works perfectly. Crisp Sound.
Unfortunately, although stated opposite, it is NOT compatable with the steering wheel controls. It is not compatable with the vehicle’s rear view camera, but works perfectly with a replacement.
The screen is of good quailty but the housing doesn't allow for a solid fix to the dashboard so it does shake when driving. What is disappointing is the lack of information on the settings. I have spent ages trying to stop messages for incorrect settings and front side cameras (BMW) upside down. Also, the microphone (BMW intergated) sounds as if I am underwater. I am still trying to sort out the problems. Drivecast have replied to my emails but have not proveded any help. Just keep asking for photos/videos.

A great addition for a Citroen C4. Got stuck a bit during installation but the Drivecast teams customer service was detailed and fast so it was quickly resolved.
Quite glitchy whenever I need to connect and took away my reverse cam. Needed to buy an extra cable for this, which wasn’t clear.
First one was faulty it happens ! Had to send back at my cost after providing video to prove .Replaced quickly and really pleased with it.all working as it should.
Nice one 👍 it's definitely an upgrade to what I had and it's really made a difference. I no longer need to use one of those ugly phone holders that don't even hold well.
I didn't expect to like it so much. I am so used to it now that I can't imagine driving without CarPlay. It's so useful and such a luxury to have.
