Despite an assurance from customer support that the unit would be compatible with my 2019 Skoda Superb, the bezel on this unit, sadly, is marginally different at the top, leaving a slight but noticeable gap in each corner. Emailed customer support, who were completely understanding and advised me to return the unit. They received the unit on the Monday and by Saturday I had a refund - excellent and efficient customer support.
Just the job
Absolutely love it. This radio and surround have bought my old Mitsubishi l200 Animal into this century. I have to work out how to make notifications louder when listening to music but I am sure this is just a settings thing. The stereo does way more than I expected with Google assistant and the surround that came with the radio fits perfectly and make it look like it has always been there.
Good commuications AI generated but showed links to videos unfortunatley not compatible with my car so refunded
Replaced our factory unit as connecting bluetooth was becoming a pain. It would take two minutes just to get it to realise our phones were connected.
This unit is a headache in different ways. No instructions for install or use, though we figured it out.
The convoluted settings are a nightmare. Whenever we turned the air con dial it would bring up a dedicated screen—that didn’t work!—and then close it, and then open the same screen again two seconds later. It took forever to find the setting to turn that off
There are so many gremlins with connecting this to airplay/android etc. It sometimes refuses to disconnect even when we turn the bluetooth off on our devices!
The plastic feels cheaper than the original, and the piece that surrounds the dials is flimsy and falls off.
On a good day, it takes seconds for us to connect - which is an improvement over our old model. I also appreciate the maps feature is much better. Haven’t tried radio. There’s also a chrome app and various others I cannot fathom the need for. Sensors all work well and the screen indicates distance which was not in our base model.
On a bad day, I have turned the car off and on again, opened and shut doors, turned my phone off and deleted the car from the bluetooth settings and STILL can’t listen to my music.
There must be a better option than this, for the price.
The product works very well and looks very good. There are a few technical settings and software updates that would be beneficial to make it more integrated into the Audi systems. I am waiting for contact from the customer services / technical department, to see if these issues can be overcome. Other than that, the functionality is very good, although the boot up process is a little slow.

Very good service and after sales advice
Just installed this despite receiving no instructions with the product on how to do so. Firstly I was shocked when I realised it didnt have DAB, despite the old unit it was replacing having this. Secondly, the WIFI wont connect for more than 2 seconds meaning I cannot sign into the play store to download the many apps it doesn't have as standard. Not happy with this product, and I'm not paying extra for something I already had!

It's not a simple plug and play. Just a few things regarding the fitment to the Skoda Fabia III 2015. You need to power the antenna if your not getting decent reception. Remember to update your apps and also be mindful of the correct canbus settings as there are not many for the Skoda Fabia.The original Skoda data takes a while to populate.
Excellent communication from Drivecast Customer Services if you get stuck as the manual/user guide is very basic when it comes to installation.

The car stereo I purchased from Drivecast is fantastic and does exactly what I wanted it to. There was a problem with the wiring harness being supplied with the wrong connector but I contact their support team and they identified the correct component and I received it 2 days later. I would highly recommend their products and will be using them again in the future.

Where can I get installation instructions. I've lost mine? I cannot find the USBOOX file they refer to.
The camera seems to be good quality but as I am unable to install it I can't comment on performance.

Was told it would work with my steering wheel controls and it doesn’t , when I reached out they weren’t any help - if they can fix this I’d happily amend this review cause the actual system is great it’s just annoying as the description stated “ retain steering wheel controls”
Still waiting on technical support for a reversing camera issue
Disappointed.
So the screen itself is ok but it doesn’t work with the steering wheel controls and I have reached out for help via emails but they have been ignored. I also purchased a reverse camera and the wrong wire to connect it was sent again I contacted the company to have this resolved but they were not interested in helping. These items were a gift for our daughter and I wish I had used a different company to purchase the items. All I wanted was some advice and help but clearly once money was exchanged that was the end of any communication.
The unit is sound and all the cans andsoftware are preprogrammed, so no need to be looking for a protocol, got added featuresi n my car doors, reverse camera, temp and air con on android, speed whichi never had before
Constantly disconnecting fromWiFi have to keep going into settings and turning back on.It's a constant mess around disconnecting mobile phone reconnecting wifi then back to Bluetooth on phone to reconnect to be able to use android auto . If your on a pop to the shops might not get it to connect in time
Not the best fit into the dashboard had to cut off a misaligned clip to get the unit in without protruding ,once you get it to work it is a good bit of kit but be prepared for a bit of messing about
